The Team Alberta 15U and 16U Prospect Series team rosters are now official. Forty (40) athletes across Alberta were selected from the Alberta Summer Games in Peace River, and the Alberta 16 and Under Tournament in Spruce Grove to participate in the Prospect Series September 2nd - 6th in Lethbridge, Alberta. The Team Alberta 15U and 16U Prospects will play six games each, competing against Team Manitoba and Team Saskatchewan. The Series will take place Spitz Stadium and Lloyd Nolan Yard. Lethbridge to Host the 2010 Prospect Series |

The 2010 Prospect Series will be held in Lethbridge, Alberta on September 3rd to 6th. The Prospect Series will be host to three provinces; Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta. Each province will send two teams, comprised of their top 15 year olds and top 16 year olds, to participate in this elite event. This event will be held at both Spitz Stadium and Lloyd Nolan Yard (PBA), with each team competing in six games. In 2009, Team Alberta 16's finished with a 4-1-1 record, and the Team Alberta 15s finished the series with a 2-4 record. The 40 athletes, making up the two Alberta teams participating in this event, are chosen from the Alberta Summer Games and the Alberta 16 & Under Tournament. The Prospect Series schedule and Team Alberta rosters will be posted online following the Alberta Summer Games and 16 & Under Tournament. |

The Alberta Amateur Baseball Council would like to thank all athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers for making both the Alberta Zone Championship Tournament and the AABC 16 & Under Tournament presented by Source for Sports a complete success! At both of these tournaments, the AABC scouted all participants before choosing the top 20 athletes to represent Team Alberta at the Prospect Series in Brandon, MB on September 3rd - 7th.
