Spruce Grove Claims the 13/14 Extravaganza Gold PDF Print E-mail

The first annual Alberta 13 & 14 Year Old Extravaganza  in Bonnyville came to a close on Sunday, September 5th. After 3 days of competition, the Spruce Grove White Sox earned the gold medal with with a 8 -1  victory over the Okotoks Dawgs. In the 3rd place game, Red Deer defeated host Bonnyville to earn the bronze medal .

During this event, Bonnyville and the AABC partnered in hosting a banquet on the evening of September 4th. Parents, athletes, and coaches were treated with presentations from Brandon Magierowskii of the Alberta Amateur Baseball Council, Dave Robb of the Okotoks Dawgs, and Reggie Rivard, a former collegiate and pro baseball player, currently pitching for the Calgary Vipers and running Fort McMurray Minor Baseball. 

The AABC would like thank Fred Cardinal and all the volunteers in Bonnyville on their efforts in making the first annual 13 & 14 Extravaganza a success!
